Scouts & Guide:
Scouts & Guide in the school comprises of nearly 500 students. There are four Guide Captains and one Scout Master. Scout & Guide assembly is held every Saturday with the following activities
• BP-6 exercise
• Prayers
• Pledge
• Games
Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp was organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.4 Delhi Cantt w.e.f 29-7-07 to 31-7-07. A total number of 123 participants 80 Scouts & 42 Guides (LOC, Trainers, Escorts, scouts & Guides ) attended the camp.
The Camp was declared open by venue Director Smt. V L Chari , Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.4 Delhi Cantt. LOC of the Camp were
Mrs. Kiranjit Kaur (Guide) & Mr. Ratan Singh(Scout).The learned members of training team were Mrs. Sulakshna Gupta, Mrs. Shalini Khare, Mr. M L Shastri, Mr. C J N Rao, Mr. V K Shukla, Mr. S P Srivastava, & Mrs. Maya Tripathi.
The day's activity commenced with flag hoisting & general instruction to the participants. Scouts & Guides went on a trekking trip to Nagesh Garden. They enjoyed sight seeing & beauty of the Garden. The Venue Director was present throughout the trip to motivate & encourage the participants. The trip was followed by testing sessions where the participants were asked questions related to Tritiya Sopan.
Day 2 activities started with written test sessions where participants were given test papers. They were also asked to show practical use of knots, compass etc. the later part of the session started with the preparation of Grand Camp Fire. The participants showed great enthusiasm in making it a success. All programmes of Grand Camp Fire were made successful under the patronage of Guide Caption, Mrs. Sulakshna Gupta. Camp Fire was attended by Honourable Chief Guests, Mr. Dheer Sing , Principal, KV No.2 Delhi Cantt and Guest of honour Mr. Vashistha, Principal, KV No.1, Delhi Cantt
The last day ended with “All Faith Prayer” & Testing Session. Later, scarves & certificates were distributed to the qualified Scouts & Guides.
The Camp was declared close by the Venue Director, Smt V L Chari, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.4 Delhi Cantt.
Scouts & Guide Activity:
• In K.V.No.4 there are 05 guide captains,01 Bulbul
Flock leader,02 Scout Masters and 01 cubs leader.
• In July 09 Basic Course was organized KVS for Guide Captains
,Scout Masters and Flock leaders .04 Teachers from our school
attended the same .
• In August 09 Tritiya Sopan testing camp was organized at KV
Rajokri. 05 guides, 08 scouts attended the 3 day camp.
• Wednesdays are celebrated as Scouts & Guides day.
• Scouts & Guides are actively involved in the welcome and
hospitality during school functions.
• ‘Each one Teach one’ Project has been undertaken by the
department .In this we have adopted young and old illiterates
living below poverty line for being educated by us.
NCC Activity:
• Summer Camp organized in Delhi in the month of June 2009.
• Selection of Five Cadets for Pre Republic Day Parade Regular
parade on Wednesday & Friday
